Raven JuM

Raven is my name and kind of like a raven, I am a 'loner'... except for the puppies I had when I arrived at the rescue. I was saved by a trapper on the streets; they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did! I am obviously a beautiful, big, and solid black and brindly girl. I am a loving girl, in my own way. I lived on the streets for who knows how long, and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit-by-your-feet dog, YET. I have all kinds of love to give, and you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and would likely do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family. I am so, so ready for you! I have the shepherd double coat, so I will shed in your house. You must have a great vacuum cleaner and a tolerance for hair!

Ideal Home

A patient individual or family who understands Raven's need for space and time to warm up. She would do well with a calm and confident canine companion. A home with a great vacuum cleaner and a tolerance for shedding is a must.

Ongoing Health

Raven is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Raven is house-trained and is good on a leash. She would benefit from continued positive reinforcement to build her confidence and help her become more of a lap dog over time.
