About PROF. PEABODY

Professor Peabody is a sweet, strong boy who would make the perfect couch buddy! Life in a kennel has been tough for this young, social dog, but in his recent foster home, he was calm and quiet, even when the mailman came by. He still has plenty of puppy energy and can get a little mouthy when he's over-excited or overwhelmed, but his intentions are innocent. He loves to learn and takes gentle direction well. Professor Peabody came to us as a stray, so very little is known about his background. He adapted very well to his foster home and yard, enjoys having lots of toys, and loves eating his food out of puzzle toys, which is a great way to direct his energy appropriately. This guy has done well in dog playgroups at the shelter, on group hikes, and he just loves saying hello to new people. He can be a little cautious on walks in new places at first, and he does best when he can take his time and get plenty of reassurance. He may not be a power walker, but he would love meandering through nature with you. This loveable, affectionate, fun, and goofy boy still needs to learn some manners, would do best with lots of one-on-one attention, and would love nothing more than curling up next to you at the end of every day.

Ideal Home

Professor Peabody would do best in a home that can provide him with lots of one-on-one attention and a calm environment.

Ongoing Health
