Rusty is a wonderful 4-year-old Retriever/Lab mix, weighing around 55 pounds, who is looking for his forever home! He was rescued from a high-intake shelter where he was at risk due to lack of space. Thankfully, our rescue stepped in to give him the second chance he truly deserves. Now, in a loving foster home, Rusty has shown himself to be a calm, affectionate, and incredibly gentle soul. He gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in his foster home and enjoys playing with them, but he's also content to simply relax by your side. Rusty is a champion snuggler and loves to be close to his people, happily sitting still for brushing. He's already house-trained and crate-trained, and even enjoys lounging in his crate with the door open. Rusty is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. He will also receive a final veterinary health inspection before joining his new family.
