Meet Botas, a delightful 1-year-old retriever mix who embodies his nickname, 'Love Bug'! This handsome fellow weighs in at a solid 55 lbs and is as affectionate as he is playful. His absolute favorite pastime? A good old-fashioned ball! Watching him chase and retrieve will bring endless joy to your day. Botas is generally friendly with other dogs, but he's a bit of a distinguished gentleman who prefers to make new canine friends through slow, proper introductions. Once he's comfortable, he's a loyal and fun companion.

Ideal Home

Botas would thrive in a home with someone experienced with retrievers, as he exhibits many of the breed's classic traits: energetic, intelligent, and always ready for fun! He's looking for a family that understands and can cater to his retriever nature with plenty of exercise, engagement, and love. We recommend a home with children ages 10 years and over.

Ongoing Health

Botas is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Botas is generally a well-behaved boy, but as with any dog, continued positive reinforcement training will help him flourish.
