Clover

Clover is a spirited Dutch Shepherd/Terrier mix, about 1 year old and weighing 45 lbs. She's a fun-loving gal who is ready for all sorts of adventures, from runs and hikes to kayaking trips! Clover is friendly and excited to meet new people, though she does tend to jump up when she's feeling enthusiastic. When she gets attention, she wiggles all over and absolutely loves to play with any toy she can get her paws on. She could play fetch for hours and is a smart cookie, already knowing commands like sit, shake, circle, come front, and lay down.

Ideal Home

Clover would love a home that can keep up with her active lifestyle. She's friendly and happy meeting other dogs, but she does have a dominant play style and likes to bat her dog friends around with her paws, so she'll need a tolerant canine companion. She also chases cats and attempts to play with them, so any feline friends in the home will need to be understanding of her playful overtures. Clover prefers a home with older children.

Ongoing Health

Clover is heartworm negative. Her adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, deworming, and microchip.

Training & Support

Clover has separation anxiety and must be crated when left alone. She can be an escape artist, even with her crate, so a secure crate setup with extra reinforcements (like carabiners) is a must.
