Sully

Sully is a sweet and gentle soul with a heart full of love! He's a male Labrador Mix, approximately 3-4 years old and around 50 lbs. Sully has a congenital hip condition, and while surgery isn't an option, he's still a happy boy who enjoys car rides and taking in the scenery. He's social and friendly, showing trust easily and enjoying people and other dogs, though he prefers not to be constantly held. Sully is an easygoing companion who will deeply love his family and is looking for a peaceful home where he can rest comfortably and receive affection without needing a lot of exercise.

Ideal Home

Sully needs a calm, low-activity lifestyle. He is not house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Sully has a congenital hip condition. He has received extensive medical care including being spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, microchipped, and tested for heartworm and 4DX. He receives monthly preventative medication for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.

Training & Support

Sully is not house-trained. He would benefit from a family experienced in dog behavior and training, or one willing to hire a trainer. Patience and understanding are crucial for helping him adjust.

• If it’s a match, we’ll call or video chat to introduce you to the pet and conduct a virtual home tour.
• We’ll speak with 1-2 of your references.
• If approved, you’ll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

Transportation

Sully is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico and is ready to travel to the East Coast. Transportation is available via a contracted transport company for a fee of $400 USD. This includes door-to-door delivery, regular updates during the journey, and a final home review.
