Kobo*

Kobo is a handsome 6-year-old mixed-breed fella who's been through a bit of a journey. He was found shut down and scared, and after being placed on the euthanasia list, he was thankfully rescued and brought to BDR. The medical staff here took good care of him and found he has a heart murmur, but no cardiac disease was detected, so he's living well and not letting it stop him! Kobo can be a bit of an introvert at first. New faces can make him fearful, and sometimes that nervousness turns into him trying to look big and scary, but he's actually just very scared to trust again. With a slow approach and some time, you'll see the real Kobo. Underneath this cautious exterior is a big goofball with the energy of a puppy! He's always up for a game, and his favorite thing in the world is giving his favorite humans a giant, full-body hug while hopping around like a bunny. He has endless love to give, and his personality makes everyone fall in love! He loves to roll around in your lap, play, and give kisses nonstop.

Ideal Home

Kobo would thrive in a home with adults or older kids who understand that he needs a little space and understanding to blossom.

Training & Support

Kobo can be fearful of new people and may show it by trying to appear intimidating. He needs a patient adopter who will give him time to trust them. Once he trusts you, he is a big goofball who loves to play and give affection.
