Banjo

Banjo (72 lbs) is about 5 years old and is a certified gentleman who knows how to make an entrance, tail wagging, eyes shining, and ready to meet every new person like they're an old friend. Take him anywhere and watch him work the crowd – he’s the well-mannered kind of dog people stop to pet. Banjo walks beautifully on a leash, sits on command, and rides like a pro in the car. He lives for his daily strolls and little adventures, but when he's home, he's all about the couch life, mastering the art of relaxation, snoozing nearby, and occasionally wandering the yard to inspect his kingdom. He's a smart, polite, low-maintenance companion.

Ideal Home

Banjo prefers a home where he can keep his inner circle small and would do best with someone experienced with larger dogs who can keep reinforcing all the good habits he has mastered. He is not a fan of cats, pigs, or farm animals.

Training & Support

Banjo is housebroken, crate trained, and a professional doggy door user. He's incredibly eager to please, smart as they come, and has had training. Out on walks, he's a total pro, trained to ignore other animals and focused on his person.

• We require veterinary references that demonstrate excellent care of previous/current pets.

Transporation

Banjo is located in Mississippi and will be transported north once his adoption is finalized. We do not charge transport fees.
