Alabama

Alabama may be compact, but she's overflowing with personality! This sweet girl is ready to play fetch, splash in baby pools, and shower her favorite humans with attention. We don't know where all these wonderful dogs keep coming from, but we do know they deserve loving homes, and Alabama is ready for hers!

Ideal Home

Alabama would love a home where she can get plenty of attention and playtime. She enjoys fetching and baby pools, so a yard with space to run and play would be wonderful.

Ongoing Health

All dogs adopted from us are spayed/neutered and vaccinated before going to their new homes.

Training & Support

Alabama is not currently house-trained, so she will need a patient adopter to help her learn. We recommend slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions for any current dog siblings, and we can facilitate dog-to-dog meet and greets at the shelter.

• All household members, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers, should be present to meet Alabama.
• If you have a dog, please bring proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for a dog-to-dog meet and greet.

Transporation

Alabama is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. We are open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to adopt the same day, please arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm can view animals until 7pm.
