Essie

Meet Essie, a delightful 3½-year-old English Springer Spaniel with a heart full of love to give! Despite a challenging past that included being found as a stray and having multiple litters, Essie has emerged as an incredibly affectionate and people-oriented dog. She truly adores being close to her humans and thrives on companionship.

Ideal Home

Essie would be happiest in a home with a securely fenced yard, ideally with a taller fence, as she has a curious and adventurous spirit. She's not a fan of leash walks and prefers to explore safely within her own space. Due to car sickness, even with medication, she would do best in a home where extensive travel is not a requirement.

Ongoing Health

Essie has overcome significant challenges with her eyes. She underwent surgery for double cherry eye and later for entropion. While her eyes have healed beautifully, she may require ongoing monitoring and occasional eye drops to support tear production.

Training & Support

Essie is diligently working on her crate and potty training and has made wonderful progress with a consistent routine. She is eager to please and will continue to blossom with patience and positive reinforcement.
