Raisin

Meet Raisin! This small, sweet, and incredibly grateful pup was found disoriented and alone. Thankfully, he's now safe and receiving the care he deserves. Raisin is a calm companion who loves to snuggle close. He's heartworm negative after completing treatment, and while his left eye is a bit cloudy, it's improving with daily drops. Raisin has a few compressed vertebrae that give him a slightly stiff walk, but despite this, he's a happy and affectionate dog who is clearly thankful for his second chance at a loving home.

Ongoing Health

Raisin is heartworm negative after completing treatment. He has a cloudy left eye that is improving with daily drops. He also has a few compressed vertebrae which cause a slight stiffness in his walk.

Transporation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We adopt to the US and Canada. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. During the summer months, it can be challenging to secure Canadian flight companions, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. Volunteers can assist in bringing dogs to adopters at the border.
