Hello, my name is Bud! I'm a charming 17.4 lb Neutered Male Pomeranian/Husky mix, born on May 14, 2020. I was rescued from a breeding kennel and while my past hasn't been the easiest, I'm finally ready to find a loving forever home. My coat was once painfully matted, and I had a small wound on my nose, but thanks to my foster family, I'm healing both physically and emotionally. I'm a playful and curious boy who loves to explore, and I've discovered the joy of Benebones! I also enjoy spending time outdoors and would love a securely fenced yard to roam in, as I'm still a bit unsure about leash walking. I really enjoy the company of other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine companion to show me the ropes. I'm making great progress with crate and house training, and I even enjoy car rides and relaxing on the sofa! I do have limited eyesight, which means I might occasionally bump into things, especially in dim light, but I navigate my surroundings well once I'm familiar with them. I'm looking for a patient and understanding family to celebrate my victories with as I continue to gain confidence.
Ideal Home
A patient and understanding family who will celebrate every little victory as I continue to gain confidence. I would do best with a securely fenced yard and need a confident doggy pal in my new home.
Ongoing Health
I have limited eyesight, which means I occasionally bump into people or objects, especially in low light. I am microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.
Training & Support
I am doing well with crate training and am making progress with house training. I am still very uncomfortable walking on a leash.
