Bubba Bear is a 3-year-old, approximately 60 lb, potential Black Lab/Pittie mix with a smile that will melt your heart. He looks like a fluffy black bear cub, complete with a toothless grin, and his gentle and innocent demeanor is even sweeter than his looks. Bubba is a calming presence, a quiet companion who will follow you from room to room, making your home feel more relaxed. He's a bit of a slow burn, preferring to observe and assess new environments and people at his own pace before fully settling in, but once he's comfortable, his affectionate side shines through with gentle head nudges and polite paw offers.

Ideal Home

Bubba would thrive in a calm home that matches his mellow personality. He's more of a homebody and would be happiest in a residential neighborhood with a fenced yard and a predictable routine. Apartment living or life in a busy city might not be his ideal match.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are mentioned, but all vetting, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, and heartworm preventative, is included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Bubba is crate trained but prefers not to be crated alone; he settles better when he can see his family or canine friends nearby. He is doing wonderfully with potty training and has figured out the doggy door for emergencies. He enjoys treats and takes them very gently, with an adorable tongue-to-treat maneuver.

Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. You can choose pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
