Fantasma

Fantasma means ghost in Spanish, but this sweet boy is anything but invisible! His rescue story is unforgettable: he was abandoned, painfully thin, missing patches of fur, and clearly unfamiliar with love. Even then, he stayed close to the other dogs, quietly finding comfort in their company. Today, Fantasma has transformed! He runs and plays with confidence, is great on the leash, and is a volunteer favorite. While he doesn't demand attention, once you notice him, you will fall in love. He is ready for a forever home where he can finally shine.

Transportation

Fantasma is currently in Portland, OR. Approved adopters will be matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and will meet them at the airport to welcome their new pup home. If a Canadian flight companion is unavailable during the summer months, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. Volunteers have successfully helped bring dogs to adopters at the border during the summer.
