Bitsy is a 6-month-old bundle of joy who came to us after being surrendered due to a family emergency. Now she's ready to find a forever family that will love her as much as she loves everyone she meets. We were given Bitsy's DNA, and she is 49% Shih Tzu and 30% Dachshund! Like any typical puppy, Bitsy is full of energy, curiosity, and affection. She loves to play and would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can help teach her how to dog and help to continue to build her confidence. Her favorite pastimes include attacking the garden hose, chasing her frisbee around the backyard, and, of course, enjoying as many treats as she can earn! She's highly food motivated, which makes training both fun and rewarding. Bitsy is currently crate trained and sleeps comfortably in her crate each night. She is still working on potty training and learning how to walk nicely on a leash, so she'll need a patient family committed to helping her build confidence and continue learning basic commands. She is up to date on all of her vaccines and will be spayed when she's old enough. Bitsy is looking for a forever home that's ready to embrace all the fun, excitement, and occasional chaos that comes with raising a puppy. In return, you'll get the sweetest, happiest little girl who will fill your days with laughter, love, and plenty of puppy kisses.
