After being returned by his previous adopter, Cody completed a board-and-train program and is continuing to work with a professional trainer in foster care. He is smart, eager to learn, active, and has made great strides with the right guidance.

Cody has a bite history and needs structure, leadership, ongoing training, and an adopter ready to help him thrive.

Ideal Home

• An experienced adopter committed to working with a trainer and continuing Cody’s training
• A child-free home
• At least 1.5 hours of daily exercise and enrichment
• No other dogs, unless the adopter is highly experienced with behavioral cases

Training & Support

Cody completed a board-and-train program and currently works with a professional trainer through his foster placement.

Application Details

• Adopters must agree to the Tattered Paws contract.
• If the adoption does not work out for any reason, Cody must be returned to the rescue.
• The adopter may not euthanize Cody without first contacting the rescue.
