Randall is ready to leave the rescue in the rearview mirror and cruise straight into his next adventure! This handsome, outdoorsy Husky Mix has been soaking up warm sunshine and crisp air on field trips to local trails, the mill pond, and even trips up to the lakes. He settles beautifully in the car and greets both people and dogs with a happy, easy smile. Randall is friendly, confident, and always up for a walk whether it’s around town or out on the trails. He loves being outside, enjoys car rides, and thrives when he’s spending time with his people. He’s playful, affectionate, and very treat motivated. He enjoys other dogs and tends to be a confident, dominant player, but greets dogs politely while out on walks. Randall knows sit, down, shake, touch, wait and stay, responds well to his name and "good," and even knows how to leap over obstacles. He’s eager to engage, eager to learn, and happiest when he’s included. If you’re looking for a companion who loves backroad drives, fresh air, and all the affection you can give, Randall would love to meet you. He’s ready to fill your days with adventure, laughter, and a lot of tail wags.
Ideal Home
Randall would thrive in an active home that enjoys walking and hiking. He is a great family dog and is great with kiddos. He needs physical exercise and mental stimulation. Given his love for the outdoors and his "talker" nature, he will likely dig unless provided with other forms of enrichment, activity, or company. He would prefer a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
Randall is a 3-year-old, 64-pound Husky Mix. All High Sierra Animal Rescue dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate shots, micro-chipped, tested for heartworm, given heartworm preventative medication each month, and de-wormed.
Training & Support
Randall knows several commands including sit, down, shake, touch, wait, and stay. He responds well to his name and "good," and he can even leap over obstacles! He is eager to learn and happy when included.
