Jesse Bear is a charming Shepherd/Husky mix, approximately 1 year old and weighing 52 lbs. He's the canine equivalent of a teddy bear, with a perpetually happy smile and a gentle demeanor that melts hearts. Jesse Bear is a social butterfly who enjoys being involved in all aspects of life, whether it's relaxing in the yard, following you around the house, or snuggling up for some quality time. He has a natural inclination to lean into people for affection, making him an instant favorite. Jesse Bear has been wonderful with children aged 5-8, showing a particular fondness for an 8-year-old boy, offering gentle kisses and seeking affection. He's also dog-friendly, happy to play with dogs of all sizes and energies, and even showed respectful behavior around a resident cat.
Ideal Home
Jesse Bear would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can explore, zoom, and enjoy the sunshine. He's happiest when he's with his people and would be a fantastic companion for someone who works from home or enjoys casual adventures, walks, or even camping trips. Ongoing Health
Jesse Bear is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworms and treated if necessary.
Training & Support
Jesse Bear has received training for crate training, potty training, and leash walking. He is described as having a go-with-the-flow personality and has shown good social skills.

Nationwide transport is available through our rescue-run USDA certified system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
