Meet Shiva! This sweet girl is a playful and intelligent American Bulldog/Pit Mix with a heart full of love to give. Shiva was born on September 28, 2022, and currently weighs around 40lbs. She's a spayed female who enjoys a good back rub, especially under curtains – it's one of her most endearing quirks! Shiva is potty trained and knows basic commands like sit, shake, and down. She's also an active girl who loves going on runs with her foster mom, making her a great companion for someone who enjoys hiking or biking. While she enjoys toys, her favorite thing is human companionship.

Ideal Home

Shiva would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of attention and companionship. She enjoys being around people and other animals, having previously gotten along with chickens and a potbelly pig. She is also great with kids. Because she can "sing" or howl when left alone for too long, she wouldn't be a great fit for apartment living unless your neighbors are particularly understanding.

Training & Support

Shiva is potty and crate trained, though she does not enjoy being in a crate. She is a smart and active dog who would benefit from continued socialization with humans and dogs through regular walks and outdoor activities.
