Sage

Sage is a wonderful female dog who is about an adult in age. She is a mixed breed of medium size and has a short, brown coat. Sage was one of 32 feral dogs that came into the shelter last year, and she has made significant progress since then. She is still learning to trust people and understands that they can be kind and safe, but she is improving every day. Sage can be shy initially, but with patience and understanding, she continues to open up more and more. She is still getting used to leashes but is learning that they aren't so scary. Sage has the potential to be a loyal and rewarding companion with time, consistency, and love.

Sage would do best in a calm, patient home where she can go at her own pace.
