Weighing in at 47 pounds, Kai is currently enjoying life in San Antonio, Texas, but don't let that stop you if you're further afield – our rescue can arrange transport for approved adopters! Kai's enthusiasm for life is infectious. She's a social butterfly who loves making friends with dogs of all sizes and people of all ages. Her favorite activities include running, chasing, and her signature happy zoomies, often accompanied by excited little barks. She's also happy to entertain herself with toys when not engaging in playtime with her canine pals. Kai is the ideal companion for an active household, and after a good play session, she loves nothing more than to snuggle up for pets and belly rubs.
Ideal Home
Kai is a wonderful housemate. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She's done beautifully with children and thrives on their affection. Kai is comfortable with stairs and is a fantastic car rider. While she can be left out in her foster home, we recommend crating any new dog until they've settled in. Loud noises or storms can make her a bit nervous, but with love and reassurance, she calms down quickly.

Kai is already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. She may pull slightly on the leash when she sees another dog, as she's just eager to say hello! With love and reassurance, she settles well when she encounters loud noises or storms.
