Meet Milo!
Milo is a 2-year-old 8 pound Poodle mix with a BIG personality packed into one happy, bouncy little body. If there is one thing you should know about Milo, it's this: he is absolutely obsessed with fetch. Tennis balls are life in Milo's world, and he would happily spend all day playing if you let him. Seriously... he LOVES fetch.
Milo is incredibly affectionate and bonds quickly with women. Some men may need to give him a few minutes to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, his playful and loving personality shines through. Although Milo has shown his gentle side with children at times, we think he'd do best without young kids.
This fun-loving boy enjoys walks and is great about letting you know when he needs to go outside. He'll stand by the door and, if you miss his signal, he'll come give you sweet face kisses as a reminder. He's mostly housebroken as long as he's kept on a routine, though he may occasionally have an accident if kept waiting too long.
Milo is playful, goofy, and full of silly habits that will keep you laughing. He loves to bury his bones in couches, cat beds, under furniture - basically anywhere he thinks is a good hiding spot. He doesn't know "sit" yet, but he's eager to interact and would likely enjoy learning with someone committed to working with him.
Milo can jump gates easily, so he'll need a home prepared for his athletic little hops. He also does not enjoy being left alone and took about two weeks to adjust to apartment noises and routine. During that adjustment period, he barked quite a bit. He is improving with being left alone over time, but his adopter should expect to continue helping him build confidence and security.
Milo is good with other dogs. He also is interested in being friends with cats, though not every cat appreciates his enthusiasm! He mostly ignores cats he sees regularly in the hallway.
If you're looking for a playful best friend who will keep you laughing, cuddle close at night, and happily play fetch until your arm falls off, Milo just might be your guy.
