Franck

Franck is a young Jack Russell Terrier mix with a playful spirit and a very loving personality. He is a social and happy puppy who enjoys being around people and other dogs. He gets along well with dogs, children, men, and women. Franck is very playful and absolutely loves being petted and receiving constant affection. Human attention makes him feel safe and content. Franck was found abandoned and suffering from severe mange that badly damaged his tail, resulting in the loss of part of it. Now healthy and full of life, Franck is ready to leave his past behind and start a new chapter with a family who will love him, play with him, and give him the care he deserves.

Ideal Home

Franck would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue and a deep understanding of the needs of rescued animals, including their potential need for protection and education. Prior experience with dog behavior and training is preferred, or a commitment to hiring a trainer. He requires a family with high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies.

Ongoing Health

Franck was treated for severe mange which resulted in the partial loss of his tail. He has completed a comprehensive health protocol including: Spay/Neuter Certificate, 2 DHPPI vaccines, Rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchip, 4DX test and certificate, negative heartworm test certificate, monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection, and a health certificate with a vaccines booklet.

Training & Support

Franck is not house-trained, as the rescue focuses on rehabilitation and cannot accommodate individual house-training for every pet. Potential adopters should understand that rescued dogs may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences and will need time to adjust to a new environment. Patience and understanding are crucial for building trust and a strong bond.

• If approved, you will sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which covers vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and food.

Transporation

Franck is currently being fostered in Matamoros, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a transport fee of $400 USD. This process includes scheduled trips (3-4 times a year with 15-20 adoptions per trip), a contracted transport company, comprehensive legal and health paperwork (including USDA Health Certificate), cross-border transport into Texas, real-time updates via a private Facebook Messenger group, and final home delivery with a home review.
