Meet Anchovy! This sweet 8-week-old Pyrenees mix, weighing in at 7lbs, is ready to find her forever family. Anchovy is a confident pup who was one of the first in her litter to master the stairs! She loves to be close to her people, often sleeping right by or on your feet. She's also good with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to many types of households. Anchovy is highly food-motivated, which will be a fantastic asset during her training journey. She's already making great progress with potty training and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate without any accidents. Plus, she's a great traveler and rides well in the car!

Ongoing Health
Anchovy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee covers her spay/neuter surgery when she reaches the appropriate age, as well as a microchip. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach to ensure she can complete her spay/neuter with our approved clinics.
Training & Support
Anchovy is working on her potty training and is expected to master it quickly. She also sleeps through the night in her crate without accidents. We require all adopters to be committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible pet ownership.

- A completed adoption application is required to move forward.
- We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on DHPP/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies).
- A virtual home visit call will be conducted to discuss the adoption process and view your home.
Transportation
Anchovy is currently being fostered in Richmond, VA. She can be transported to the Virginia Beach area.
