Leroy

You've got to be kidding me! Look at that smile!

Leroy is a 2-year-old Pyr mix with a heart as big as his grin. He came to us when his previous owner faced some health challenges, and now he's ready to find his forever family. Leroy is a super sweet and playful boy who loves to greet his people with enthusiasm – he might even give you a happy jump! Because of his excitement, a home with very young children might not be the best fit. He gets along well with other dogs, though he can be a bit dominant, especially with male dogs. He'd likely do best with a more mellow female dog or as the only canine companion. Leroy shows some interest in cats, but we think confident kitties could definitely hold their own and teach him some manners!

Ideal Home

Leroy would absolutely thrive in a home with a large, fenced yard where he can romp and play to his heart's content. He's a young, energetic guy who enjoys playtime, so an active adopter would be a great match. He can also be a bit vocal, so an apartment setting isn't ideal.
