Bombon is a sweet 9-month-old German Shepherd mix, weighing around 33 lbs and standing 16 inches tall. She was rescued as a tiny pup in Saltillo, Mexico, after her brother sadly passed away. Initially shy and wary of strangers, Bombon blossoms into a deeply affectionate and playful companion once she feels safe and loved. She's an active girl who enjoys cuddling, hiking, and exploring. Bombon is also brave, intelligent, and a quick learner, and she's already familiar with leash walking and crate training. She gets along well with children and other dogs.
Ideal Home
Bombon would thrive in an active household with a fenced backyard, where she can run and play. Her ideal family enjoys hiking and exercise. It's important that her new family understands the needs of rescued animals and has experience with dog behavior and training, offering plenty of patience and tolerance as Bombon continues to learn and grow.
Ongoing Health
Bombon is spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has been dewormed and tested negative for heartworm and the 4DX (heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichiosis, Anaplasmosis). She is currently on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has a clean health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
While Bombon is crate trained and walks well on a leash, she is not yet house-trained. Her foster family works hard to provide care and enrichment, but due to the number of animals they help, they are unable to complete house-training for every dog. Bombon's new family will need to continue her house-training journey with patience and consistency.

- A virtual or in-person home check will be conducted.
- A virtual meet and greet with Bombon and her foster family will be arranged.
- If all parties agree it's a good fit, an adoption contract will be provided, including a trial adoption period.
Transporation
Bombon is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. She is available for transport to the East Coast in January/February 2023. Transport fees apply and are the adopter's responsibility, paid prior to departure. The transport service will deliver Bombon to your home address.
