Alfa

Alfa is operating under the assumption that every day should include at least one adventure, three play sessions, and a reasonable amount of admiration for his fabulous hair. This 5-month-old Poodle-Shih Tzu mix weighs 14 pounds and is still growing into both his fluffy coat and his big personality. He came into rescue with Romera, but make no mistake, Alfa is determined to write his own story, preferably at top speed. Athletic, playful, and endlessly entertaining, Alfa approaches life with puppy-level enthusiasm and zero concern for conserving energy. If there's a toy to chase, a yard to explore, or a game to invent, he's already halfway there. Some puppies walk through life; Alfa prefers to hit the ground running. His shaggy good looks are part of the package, though they do come with a small maintenance agreement. Alfa believes looking this handsome is a team effort. He provides the cuteness; his future family provides the brushing appointments. It's a partnership. Despite his busy social calendar and athletic pursuits, Alfa still finds time to be an affectionate companion. He loves being part of the action and wants to know what his people are doing at all times. Quality control is important work. And true to his name, Alfa has a knack for taking the lead when it comes to fun. He's not bossy; he's simply an enthusiastic event coordinator with four paws and excellent hair.

Alfa is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm on his 4DX test.

Training & Support

Alfa is a puppy with a lot of enthusiasm and may need guidance in learning house manners as he settles in. His playful nature means he's likely to be a quick learner with consistent positive reinforcement.
