Buddie

Buddie is an adorable Wire Haired Chihuahua mix who just entered rescue with his friend Bo the Mini Aussiedoodle. Buddie and Bo came from a home where they were very well taken care of and loved, but unfortunately, their human lost her housing and was unable to keep her animals. We were told they are crate and potty trained and so far they seem to be! They both get along well with other dogs and show no prey drive towards cats, if anything maybe some curiosity and a little bit of fear. Buddie is excellent with well-behaved children.

Ideal Home

Buddie would do well in a home with other dogs and cats, and would also be great with well-behaved children.

Ongoing Health

Buddie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and HW Negative and on monthly prevention.

Training & Support

Buddie is reported to be crate and potty trained and has shown no prey drive towards cats.

• All dogs are adopted to the best possible match and calling or emailing the rescue will not speed up the process or liken your chances of being chosen.
• You will be notified by the adoption coordinator if your application is approved.
• Adoptions are set up by appointment only. We are not a municipal shelter.
• If you are not ready to immediately meet the dog you are applying for, please do not apply. Every dog is available to be taken home at the time of the meet and greet.
• We recommend you bring a carrier with you to transport the dog home as some can get carsick. Adult dogs and most puppies over 6 months of age will require a slip lead for transport.
• Adoption fees can be paid with Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal and credit card. You pay these the day you adopt when you sign your contract through an online system.
