Look at this perfect pittie princess! Meet Thea, an affectionate sweetheart whose love language is big hugs and even bigger devotion. She's the kind of dog who will press her whole body into you as if to say, "You're my bestest friend in the whole universe!" And she'll mean it with every ounce of her heart! Thea is sweet as the day is long and truly loves her people. She follows them like a shadow, lives for connection, and is always ready for a good treat and a booty scratchie! We believe Thea is a pittie mix of some sort, around 4 years old and weighing approximately 50 pounds. She has gorgeous blue coloring and the best pittie block head! While she lives with two foster dogs, she's more of a people's dog than a dog's dog, preferring couch cuddles and human company over rowdy playdates. She is respectful around other dogs but is just as happy watching from a distance. For that reason, she'd thrive as the queen of her castle or with a laid-back canine roommate who respects her space.
Ideal Home
Thea would do best with older kids who can handle her enthusiasm. She is not a match for homes with cats. She'll do best in a home with a yard where she can stretch out her legs and lounge in the sunshine. Apartment life may not be the best fit for this girl as she gets the occasional blues when her people leave.

Thea is an excellent student! She's been working on her leash skills and responds well to guidance from a confident handler. She is incredibly food motivated, which will be a great tool for continued training!

Thea is located in Texas and can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Transport is available via USDA licensed vehicles with 24/7 care. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT.
