Sparkles is a sweet, playful little dog who dances like a tiny ballerina when she wants your attention – you could even say she "sparkles"! She is potty trained, knows basic commands, and is friendly and confident when meeting new dogs. Sparkles loves to play, whether it's inside or outside, and enjoys having other small dogs around. Her journey to Minnesota wasn't an easy one; she was found abandoned, matted, and suffering from fleas and parasites in Texas. Today, she's healthy and ready for the loving home she deserves. With a little patience and time to build trust, Sparkles will blossom into a happy, affectionate companion, eager for her fresh start to begin!

Ideal Home

Sparkles would do best with older children, as she may nip if she's startled or surprised. She enjoys the company of other small dogs.

Ongoing Health

Sparkles is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. Activity must be restricted for several weeks during recovery. Wags will cover the full cost of treatment and provide heartworm preventatives until the retest is due. The adopter will be responsible for scheduling the retest and obtaining any follow-up prescriptions through their veterinarian.
