Meet Heidi! This scruffy little sweetheart is the total package - affectionate, easygoing, and ready to be someone's loyal sidekick. Heidi came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed, but it's clear she was once loved and well cared for. Based on her adorable scruffy appearance, we'd guess she's got some mini-schnauzer in her DNA, but who knows!

Heidi has settled beautifully into foster care and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. She's a calm, trustworthy companion who can be left out without a crate both overnight and when home alone. At bedtime, she happily curls up in her dog bed in the same room as her foster and sleeps soundly through the night.

This girl is also a fantastic travel buddy - she rides wonderfully in the car and settles quickly for the journey. Whether you're heading out on an adventure or relaxing at home, Heidi is happiest just being near her people.
