Lazarus "Lazzie"

Lazarus, a.k.a. Lazzie, is a 3-4 year old, 50 lb. black Lab mix with a gorgeous, shiny coat. Lazzie is a volunteer favorite because he is calm, gentle, and quiet. He loves to spend his days lounging and cuddling on the bed with other dogs and his people. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and currently lives with a chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie. Lazzie enjoyed socializing at a local adoption event, where he was sweet and gentle with everyone he met. He came to us covered in mange and suffering from an upper respiratory infection after being found alone in a ditch full of trash. Now, he is healthy, strong, and strikingly handsome!

Ideal Home

Lazzie enjoys cuddling and lounging, and would be happy in a home where he can share the bed and couch with his people and other doggy friends. He has experience living with dogs of various sizes and has shown to be gentle with strangers.

Ongoing Health

Lazzie has been fully vaccinated and neutered. He has made a full recovery from his past health issues.

Training & Support

Lazzie is kennel trained and potty trained. He is also eligible for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transporation

Lazzie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can take you to your state or a neighboring state. Pick-up locations may vary, including across city, county, or state lines. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates along the way. Facebook chats are also available for staying informed about dogs in transport.
