Nico

Howdy! My name is Nico and I'm a handsome 2-year-old German Shepherd weighing about 90lbs. I'm a big boy with a lot of love to give and I'm ready to find my forever home! I enjoy being active and would make the best companion for someone who loves to walk, hike, or run. I'm also food motivated, which makes training a breeze, especially with a tasty treat like cheese or hot dogs! I'm house and crate trained and get along well with large female dogs, so if you have a doggy friend for me, that would be pawsome! I'm looking for an experienced owner who can provide the structure, routine, and consistency I thrive on.

Ideal Home

A home with teenage or adult humans is preferred. I need a stern and experienced owner who can teach me that I'm not the boss, even though I'd love to be! I am not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, and monthly preventatives. I have also been neutered.

Training & Support

I need full obedience training to become a well-rounded canine citizen. My food motivation will be a great asset in my training journey, so bring on the cheese and hot dogs!

• All dogs are fostered in Tennessee unless otherwise noted.
• All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, and are spayed or neutered.
• An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog.
• Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters by appointment only.
• Due to the high volume of inquiries, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications.

Transporation

I am currently being fostered in Greeneville, TN. We do transport dogs to the East Coast, and a transport fee will apply.
