Piper

Piper is a resilient and loving 45lb, two-year-old dog with a heart full of affection. She came to us from a difficult hoarding situation and was initially very fearful and underweight. Thanks to her time in foster care, Piper has blossomed into a confident and outgoing companion. She has a silly side that shines through when she's joyfully running in circles or rolling in the grass for a good scratch. Piper adores children and gets along well with other dogs. She's even a great yoga buddy, ready to join you in a downward-facing dog!

Ideal Home

Piper would thrive in a quiet neighborhood where sudden loud noises won't startle her. A busy city environment might be too overwhelming for her. She would also do best in a home with another confident dog who can help her continue to build her confidence.

Ongoing Health

Piper has made a full recovery from the mange she had when she arrived.

Training & Support

Piper is already potty trained and crate trained, though she doesn't require a crate as she is very well-behaved. She is still a bit sensitive to loud noises, so continued patience and gentle encouragement will help her feel secure.
