Yogi’s mama, Ursa, and her four pups were tossed out onto a stairwell landing, left scared and at risk of falling. Thankfully, they came into rescue just in time — and now all the cubs are safe, thriving, and growing into happy, healthy pups.

Yogi is a gentle, playful boy who’s ready to start his new life soon. 🐾 Healthy, social 🐾 Finished all vaccines 🐾 Playful, cuddly, and full of puppy charm 🐾 One of Ursa’s brave little cubs ✨ Yogi is ready for a family who will love him as he grows.

Adoption process:

Our rescue is located near Bucerias Mexico. We use Petfinder to reach a greater audience for our dogs and adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada. ⚠️ Due to the upcoming airline heat embargo, dogs adopted to Canada won’t be able to fly into Canada after certain dates. They can fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if unable to fly to your city.⚠️

We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border — this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward. 🐾✈️❤️

The first step is to submit an application on our website here: https://www.adogsnewlife.org/adopt

Once we receive your application, we will review it and may contact you for more information or to conduct a home check. If your application is approved and the dog is located in Mexico, we will collaborate with flight companions (flight angels) flying from Puerto Vallarta to destinations close to where the dog is posted as available. Adopters can meet these flight angels at the airport and take the pup home. (We can provide more detailed information about this process to adopters upon request.)
