River your Sweet Snuggle Buddy!

River is an amazing boy with a social personality that you are sure to love! He's friendly, affectionate, smart, curious, and funny, and he loves to be with his humans. River enjoys giving warm snuggles and would love to be your cuddle buddy. He also enjoys having fun and can be silly, which will keep you smiling. River loves his toys and will either play with you or entertain himself. He will run around with a toy in his mouth, get excited, and give you an excited look – it’s adorable to watch him! River also enjoys napping on the couch. He loves getting your attention but is such a good boy and willing to wait until the right time. River is house-trained, weighs 49 lbs, and is a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix. His estimated birthday is November 16, 2022. River is good on a leash and loves everyone he meets on walks; people stop to compliment him all the time, and he loves it! He is very willing to say hello to just about everyone and loves to explore. He is a smart boy and very eager to please. Basic training would be a piece of cake with a little time invested and his favorite – yummy treats! River LOVES the water. He's an excellent swimmer and loves hanging out by the water.

Ideal Home

River's new family will need to have a home with a secure, fully fenced backyard so River can safely run and play with his toys.

Ongoing Health

River has received his DAPP with booster, bordetella, rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. He has also been neutered and will receive 1 year of heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

River is house-trained, eager to please, and responds well to positive reinforcement and treats.
