Abel is a stunning Dogo Argentino with a big presence and an even bigger heart. This sweet, affectionate boy is a total lovebug who wants nothing more than to be close to his person. He forms deep bonds and loves with his whole soul. Abel is smart, curious, and eager to learn. He has a fast recall, is quick to go potty, and picks up on new things easily. While he can be a bit picky with treats, he never turns down a good chew toy, especially a collagen chew. He loves car rides, gives the sweetest kisses, and even offers gentle hugs that perfectly match his tender personality. Abel was saved from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and has shown nothing but love and gratitude toward every human he meets.

Ideal Home

Abel thrives in a home where he can have companionship, structure, and reassurance. He would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can feel secure and have all the love and attention to himself, as he does not tolerate even small signs of tension or micro-aggressions from other dogs.

Abel is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention.
