Steve

Steve was discovered outside the local shelter, abandoned in a laundry basket filled with trash. He was severely underweight and neglected. The shelter team, seeing his dire condition, initially considered euthanasia as the kindest option. However, when Steve, sensing their concern, lifted his head as if to say "I'm still here," they knew he deserved a chance. Steve has been examined by a veterinarian and is undergoing treatment for malnutrition and neglect. His toenails were found to be dangerously overgrown, curling into his paw pads. He has a long journey to recovery, but with each passing day, he grows stronger.

A loving and patient home that understands Steve is on a long road to recovery and will provide him with the care and attention he needs to regain his health and confidence.

Ongoing Health

Steve is currently being treated for severe malnutrition and neglect. He is underweight and his toenails were overgrown. He will require ongoing veterinary care and monitoring as he recovers.

Training & Support

Steve will need ongoing support as he rebuilds his strength and learns to trust. Patience and a gentle approach will be key to his successful rehabilitation.
