Hawk

Hawk is a cuddly little guy who wants nothing more than to be with his person and his dog sibling. He is the cuddliest boy who loves to take naps with his head tucked under your chin or perched on your shoulder. When he wants attention while you're working, he'll climb up into your lap so that you can pet him. Hawk loves to squeeze himself into one dog bed with his foster brother, but is also the most playful boy, and loves to show off to his dog pal by doing wild parkour zoomies, barrel rolls and somersaults. Hawk's genetic makeup includes: American Pit Bull Terrier (55.1%), Australian Cattle Dog (16.3%), Labrador Retriever (15.2%), Supermutt (10.2%), and German Shepherd Dog (3.2%).

Ideal Home

Hawk needs to be adopted into a home with a dog companion as his confidence improves with another dog's company. He does not do well with cats and should live in a cat-free home. Hawk feels most comfortable in a home without children and prefers to be free-roam to a doggy-proofed area as opposed to a crate.

Ongoing Health

Hawk is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Hawk is reliably potty trained and lets you know when he needs to go outside. He is mostly leash trained and has good leash manners but may occasionally pull or get distracted.
