Blaze

Meet Blaze — a big, beautiful boy with an even bigger heart. Blaze is an 88-pound Weimaraner–American Bulldog mix who is just over a year old. He was surrendered simply for being "too big," but he's still very much a youngster and is carrying around a whole lot of love he hasn't quite figured out how to share yet. Here at the shelter, Blaze is scared and unsure, and it's clear the world hasn't given him much guidance so far. But the moment he feels safe, he leans in with a sweetness that makes you want to wrap your arms around him and tell him everything's going to be okay. Blaze may be hefty, but inside he's just a sensitive soul looking for someone who will see past his size and notice the worried, hopeful pup underneath. With patience, kindness, and a steady routine, this boy is going to shine.
