My name is Steve, and I'm a 1-year-old, large male Shepherd mix who weighs about 60 lbs. I was found as a stray and ended up at Animatch, where I'm now looking for my second chance at a forever home. Puppies are undeniably cute, but as we grow, we need guidance, exercise, and commitment. I'm not a perfect dog right out of the box, but with patience, consistency, and a good sense of humor, I have tons of potential. I'd love to enroll in some training classes with my future family to help us bond and for me to become the best dog I can be! I'm an active guy who enjoys walks, hikes, and any outdoor adventure. I can get along with other dogs with proper introductions, but cats are a no-go for me. Respectful children over 8, or even better, teenagers who enjoy throwing balls or frisbees, would be a great fit for my energy level. What I want most is a lifetime commitment filled with love, just as much when I'm an old man as when I first join your family. Ideal Home

I'm looking for a committed family who will love me for a lifetime. I'd do best in a home with respectful children over 8 or teenagers, and I can get along with other dogs with proper introductions. I am not a good fit for a home with cats.
