Prickly Pete

Prickly Pete is a 3-year-old, 83-pound bundle of love, energy, and goofiness! He was rescued from a rather prickly situation in a cactus-filled canyon after a kind soul reported his previous owner for abandonment. Now, Prickly Pete is ready for his forever home, where he can share his awesome personality and love for adventure. He's a big boy who bonds deeply with his people and enjoys everything from snuggling on the couch to hitting the hiking trails.

Ideal Home

Prickly Pete is looking for a loving adult-only home where he can be your ultimate adventure buddy and cuddle companion. He thrives on fun outings and relaxing evenings with his favorite humans. Due to his "stranger danger," he needs a home where new people are managed carefully, and he'd prefer to avoid any little ones. He's happy with or without canine siblings.

Ongoing Health

Prickly Pete has no special health concerns. His adoption fee includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping.

Training & Support

This clever boy is already a pro at potty training, crate training, and leash walking. While he's generally mellow at home and comfortable being alone, he does exhibit alert barking with new people. With gentle management and consistent reassurance, he'll continue to build confidence around strangers.
