As sweet as a chocolate chip cookie, our lovely boy Chip is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving 2-year-old, neutered male Pit Bull mix, weighing around 60 lbs. He's a certified lover boy who adores his people, loves to cuddle, and will be your shadow everywhere you go. While Chip can be a bit cautious when first meeting new people, once he trusts you, he'll be your best friend forever!
Chip is a Velcro dog who loves sniffing walks and does well on the leash. He is crate-trained, potty-trained, and loves spending time outdoors. He's also a master of costumes and frequently rocks any outfit! Chip has done well with his calm foster dog siblings and enjoys playing with them. We highly recommend slow introductions to other dogs and believe he would do best with calm/submissive doggy siblings who are happy to engage in his play. He would also do well as an only dog if he could go on outings occasionally. However, Chip asks that he not live with any cats.
Ideal Home
Chip's ideal humans would enjoy having him as their right-hand man and understand that he can be anxious when left alone. He has been working on his separation anxiety and can be crated when left home. Chip would thrive with a family that can keep up with his training and would love to work with him. He would happily accompany you on outings, loves car rides, and enjoys walks. Chip has also done well around older children.
Ongoing Health
Chip is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is working on his separation anxiety and can be crated when left alone. Chip would love to continue his training with his new family.
