Leann is a sweet and shy girl who is looking for a patient and understanding home. She came to us as a stray and is still learning to trust humans. She enjoys quiet environments and would do best in a home without young children or a lot of commotion. Leann loves to play with wand toys and will often chase them around with great enthusiasm. She can be a bit of a couch potato, enjoying long naps in sunbeams.
Ideal Home
Leann would thrive in a calm and quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. A home without young children or a lot of unpredictable activity would be ideal for her. She needs a family who understands that she is shy and will give her the time and space she needs to adjust and build confidence.
Ongoing Health
All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. Leann has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Leann is still learning to trust, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key to helping her feel comfortable. Encouraging gentle play with wand toys and providing quiet spaces for her to retreat to will help her blossom.

- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- After we review your completed survey, we will contact you by phone or email within three business days.
- An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match.
- After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system.
- The adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location.
- Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier.
Transportation
Leann is located at Pet Central Helps! in the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), in Suite 720. We can arrange transport to PetSmart - Bloomington, IL and the Cat's Meow Cafe. Please inquire about transport options when you contact us.
