Gus is the definition of a velcro dog! If you're looking for a constant companion who wants to be by your side through every part of the day, Gus is ready to apply for the job. This sweet boy forms strong bonds with his people and thrives on love, attention, and companionship. Gus has a playful, determined side too. He's quite the climber and has been known to find creative ways to get where he wants to go, especially if it means being closer to his favorite humans. Because he loves his people so much, Gus does experience separation anxiety and will do best with a family that can help him continue building confidence when alone and provide him with plenty of companionship. Despite his challenges, Gus is an incredibly loving and affectionate dog who simply wants to be near the people he cares about. He does well on leash and enjoys spending time exploring with his favorite person by his side. With patience, understanding, and lots of love, Gus will reward his family with unwavering loyalty and endless affection.
