Shane

Shane is a handsome 11-year-old boy who loves to make the most of every day. He was facing euthanasia due to breed-specific legislation in Springfield, but thanks to our amazing supporters, he's now safe with us and has a second chance at life! Shane is always up for an adventure and enjoys hikes at our Sanctuary. He's a very smart boy who knows basic commands and is simply looking for a loving home and a human to call his own. He's currently enjoying his time at the C.A.R.E. Sanctuary while he waits for his perfect match.

Ongoing Health

All C.A.R.E. rescue dogs are vaccinated, heart-worm tested, spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Shane knows his basic commands and is a very smart boy!
