Winter

Meet Winter, a stunning 5-year-old Husky with a personality as bright as her name suggests! Winter came to us when her previous owner had to move and could no longer give her the attention she deserves. She's lived happily with teenagers, other dogs, and even cats, showing a generally friendly disposition towards everyone. Winter's enthusiasm for meeting new people and animals is infectious, though it can sometimes lead to a bit of enthusiastic pulling on the leash as she eagerly makes her introductions.

Ideal Home

Winter would love a family who understands and appreciates the unique intelligence, independence, and playful antics that Huskies are known for. She's a clever girl who can be an escape artist, so a secure environment is a must. She's mostly house-trained, but can have accidents if left alone for extended periods or if her signals are missed.

Ongoing Health

Winter is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, fecal tested, microchipped, and has had her rabies vaccination and tag. Her adoption fee helps cover these essential medical procedures.

Training & Support

Winter is a smart cookie and knows "sit," "down," and "shake," though her participation is always on her terms! She's working on her leash manners and requires a martingale collar due to her Houdini-like tendencies. Be prepared for a smart pup who can figure out how to open doors, escape crates, and who has a keen interest in any accessible trash. She also has a strong prey drive, especially when it comes to squirrels!
