Jerry is a goofy, affectionate, one-year-old Bluetick boy who is waiting for his new home in Chattanooga. Jerry is a fun-loving boy that is always ready for his next adventure! Whether he's romping around with other dogs, exploring the outdoors, or soaking up attention from his people, Jerry is all in. He's currently a bit underweight at 50 lbs and should be closer to 60 lbs, but he's enjoying regular meals to help him get there. Jerry absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine companion or regular opportunities for playtime. He also does well with children and tolerates cats. Jerry has a world-class bay and isn't shy about using it, so he is not a good candidate for close neighbors. As a young hound, Jerry has plenty of energy and will need an active family that can provide exercise, enrichment, and continued training. He is doing great with housetraining and manners. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, he is sure to become an outstanding companion.
