Meet Ellie! She's a 7-year-old, 75-pound noble lady with the stature of a house hippo and the heart of a seasoned couch commander. Ellie has mastered the art of lounging, spending her days on royal cushions and performing dramatic food dances for her kibble. She's known for her sassy personality, her love of snuggles, and a strict no-stranger policy.

Ideal Home

Ellie thrives in a quiet and predictable environment with one or two humans who understand her need for personal space. She would do well with older children who are calm and understand her ways, but she is not suited for younger children due to their potential for commotion. Ellie prefers her people close, her cats far away, and her canine companions carefully vetted through a meet-and-greet.

Ellie is house-trained and crate-trained.

Training & Support

Ellie is set in her ways and prefers her people to be her primary focus. While she enjoys walks and lounging, she can be a bit suspicious of strangers and needs to be secured in her crate when visitors arrive. She gets along with some dogs but not others, so a meet-and-greet is essential. She's not a fan of cats.
