Training & Support

Cullen is not house-trained. We recommend slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions if you have another dog, after allowing time for decompression.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members should be present to meet dogs, especially those under 18 and any decision-makers.
• We recommend and can arrange dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet Cullen at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s).

Transporation

Cullen is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. They are open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.
